DETAILS

The Folk School and the Interior Knit and Crochet Community are hosting our THIRD annual yarn swap!

Bring your yarn and related supplies (needles, books, etc.) to The Folk School to sell, then stay and shop!

This swap will work similarly to the ski swaps in town. Each person will bring their stash yarn (and tag and price it themselves prior to the sale). At the end of the sale, sellers can pick up their money and unsold items. There will be an option to donate any unsold yarn. We will also have a “free” basket for small bits too short to sell.

Yarn (and other related supplies) can be dropped off at the Folk School on Friday night or Saturday morning. After an hour to get organized, the sale will run for 4 hours. Unsold items and money can be retrieved during pick up hours or, if needed, at our next Sunday Social Knit at the Folk School on November 20th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. See the schedule above for specific times.

Selling yarn? If you have a lot of yarn, or are having someone else drop off your yarn, you can sign up online and then download and fill out a seller form and make price tags ahead of time! If you need help with this, volunteers will be available to help you fill out tags and forms during drop off. This is a fundraiser for the Folk School and the IKCC: 20% of sales will go toward keeping these incredible local nonprofits going strong!
